Organizational Overview


Introduction

The Management Association of Nepal - Management Development Center (MAN-MDC) is a newly established entity whose main objective is to work as an independent national think tank for management and development issues. The Center will create and promote independent expert opinions in the issues related to the socioeconomic development of the nation to all stakeholders involved in management development.

Vision

Management Development Center (MDC) shall be a common locale of all management professionals who ponder on management issues and emerge as an independent think-tank, which not only shares knowledge but also creates new knowledge in this field to fill the gaps in national management development.

Mission

To facilitate all management practitioners in improving their professionalism by creating and promoting appropriate and pertinent management know-how and socially responsible management practices.

Objectives

  • To initiate professional discussion on areas important for the development of the country so as to instigate the process of instituting an independent think-tank.
  • To run executive development programs to create a body of professionals to cater to the current management development needs.
  • To emerge as an independent opinion maker in development management.
  • To play as a protagonist in the management reform process.
  • To work as the information/resource center for Nepalese private and public sectors as well as the development partners.
  • To conduct research, consultancy and other services pertaining to the socioeconomic development of the country.
  • To provide professional services to the Nepalese public and private sectors and the development partners.
  • To work as a focal point for all the stakeholders involved in private and public sector development in Nepal.
  • To work in collaboration with national and international professional associations and other organizations to share knowledge, experience and information for mutual benefits.
